The charter of the MCRC is to:
- Educate and increase awareness of resources and services available to our Muslim community in our geographic area
- Connect the people who need help with the appropriate resources
- Collaborate with existing organizations and sponsor the creation of resources and resource that do not currently exist
While we are not associated with any Masjid, we work with all of them to identify the needs of the community and connect those requiring assistance with currently available resources and services in the greater Seattle area.
Our core team of volunteers also work with existing organizations – Muslim and non Muslim – to help create resources that are needed but not currently available.
Please contact admin@mcrcseattle.org for more information or if you have any questions

Hadith of the Day
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Allah (mighty and sublime be He) said:
Whosoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war with him. My servant draws not near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it. I do not hesitate about anything as much as I hesitate about [seizing] the soul of My faithful servant: he hates death and I hate hurting him.

Hello,
I am very happy to see this service initiative, I Hope it will be very helpful for our inhabitants in this area.
Just some suggestions:
1) One category related to halal meat may be very interesting to have. Currently we have couple of farms who can deliver zabiha meat, and also we have couple of places that we can buy halal meat today.
2) List of Halal Restaurants – May be another category
3) List of all masajids can be another category
Best Regards,
Ahmed Khan
JAK Br. Ahmed Khan for your feedback. IA we will consider adding these as new resource categories
Masha Allah, may Allah reward you for this great job. Our beloved Muhammad (SAW) said: “The best of men are those who are useful to others.
That’s good alhamdu Lellah. My Allah bless you for your efforts. One of the great rewards from Allah is to enter happiness in someone’s heart as reported from our beloved Prophet. Remember, a thousand steps starts with one step.
One way to spread the word, in addition to emails, is to have some flyers in the center’s/masajid. I volunteer to make flyers for the new SALAAM CENTER in Renton and Kent masjid if you send me one.
Masha Allah, may Allah reward you for this great job. Our beloved Muhammad (SAW) said: “The best of men are those who are useful to others. and I back from Africa and I met young Muslim children who need School supplies, such as Notebooks,Pencils,Pens, Sharpers, erasers and school bags

Assalaamu Alaykum
ASAK
Please post information on how we can help and what supplies are needed.
I like the clear way the information is posted and the new colors for the fonts. I have one recommendation regarding the Hadith. Please consider giving the Hadith on the subject of Brotherhood and caring for one another with a reference of an ayah from the Quran.
Jazak Allah Khair for providing this very much needed Community Services Resources easily accessible to everyone.
JAK for your feedback.
